Update: Sewage Lift Station Matter
The KDCA Board of Directors wants to alert all KD residents to some activity that will be taking place in the KDCA common area located just south of the Oxford Court cul-de-sac.
Nathan Baggett (Program Manager, City Utilities Engineering) has reported that they are ready to begin their excavation to determine the location of the existing 20-inch force main. On Tuesday (June 25), they put down white paint and flags where they intend to dig. Over the next 48-hours, other utilities will be out to mark their facilities before digging can begin.
Weather permitting, City Utilities intends to start digging on Friday morning (June 28) at the earliest.
At most, the excavation will be open for about a week, while City Utilities visualizes the force main and gets it surveyed. Once they have gathered all of the information needed, City Utilities will backfill the excavation and re-seed the damaged turf in the KDCA common area.
